In 1920 he married Miss EUNICE HUSTLER in Iberia and they have four daughters. He is a farmer and poultry raiser and resides at Iberia. He enlisted in the Marine Corps in June, 1918, and served until August 1919, about a year of that service being overseas. His belief is the Christian Church and he is a member of the Masonic Lodge at Iberia, being a Past Worshipful Master of the latter. He also is Past Commander of Freeman Watkins Post No. 105, of the American Legion. After serving as a member of the House of Representatives in the 53rd, 54th, 55th, 56th and 59th General Assemblies, he was re-elected in 1938. He has served as Commander of the Ex-service Men's Club of the 54th, 55th, 56th and 60th General Assembly.
