STILL (Republican), Representative from Adair County; born in Franklin County, Kans., January 7, 1865; educated in high school and business college at Kirksville, Mo. He married Miss ANNA RYDER in Kirksville, June 30, 1892, and resides in Kirksville where he is an osteopathic physician. Was head of the American School of Osteopathy in Kirksville from 1892 to 1918, retiring to be succeeded by his brother-in-law, George M. Laughlin. He served in the 14th Infantry, United States Army. He was twice Mayor of Kirksville and also was a member of the school board there. Elected to the House of Representatives in 1930, he was re-elected in 1932, 1934, 1936, and in 1938, and served in the 60th General Assembly as a member of the following committees: Appropriations; Public Health; State Teachers Colleges; Printing; Building and Loan; University. GROVER C. STUDIVAN (Democrat), Representative from McDonald County; born at Cyclone, Mo., December 15, 1889; educated in the public schools of McDonald County, Mo. He was married in April 1911 to Miss JOSIE SCHMIDT of Pineville, Mo. They have three sons and one daughter, LEE E., RALPH G., WEAVER E., and OPAL IRENE. A farmer, he resides on RFD No. 3, Anderson, Mo. After serving two terms as Assessor of McDonald County, from 1924 to 1928, and from 1932 to 1936, he was elected in 1938 to the House of Representatives and served in the 60th General Assembly as a member of the following committees: Agriculture; Education; Fish and Game; Flood Control and Soil Conservation; Mines and Mining; Roads and Highways.
