SULLIVAN (Democrat), Representative from St. Louis City, Third District; born in St. Louis, October 23, 1890; educated in the parochial and public schools of St. Louis. Married Mrs. CAVELYN ROTH HARRIS in Waterloo, Ill., June 10, 1934, and has one step-son, LOUIS H. HARRIS, Jr. He is a merchant at 4061 Chouteau Avenue in St. Louis, and resides at 4222a Gibson Avenue in that city. During the World War, he served in the 53rd Transportation Corps. Active for many years in political affairs of the 17th Ward of St. Louis, he was elected to the House of Representatives in 1934 and re-electeds in 1936 and 1938. In the 60th General Assembly, he acted as chairman of the Committee on Federal Relations, and also served as a member of the following other committees: Justice of the Peace and County Courts; Labor; Private Corporations; Taxation and Revenue; Transportation Other Than Railroads.
