Born in Andrew County, Missouri, May 19, 1883. Educated in the public schools, Kirksville State Normal, Stanberry Normal, St. Joseph Business University and the University of Missouri. Married Miss EFFIE SPENCER in St. Joseph, Mo., May 11, 1910, and they reside in St. Joseph. Admitted to the bar, January 23, 1907. Was elected Circuit Judge in 1924 and re-elected in 1928 and 1934. His present term expires December 31, 1940. Resides at 2516 Felix Street, St. Joseph, and has two children, DOROTHY E. SCHOLL and CHARLES S. WILCOX. EMMETT J. CROUSE (Democrat), Sixth Circuit, Division No. 2, Buchanan County. Born November 1, 1888, in Buchanan County, Missouri; educated in the public and high schools of Buchanan County and the St. Joseph Law School. Admitted to the bar in July, 1926. Married Miss GERTRUDE E. HOLMES, October 10, 1909, in Buchanan County, and they reside in St. Joseph. He served two terms, 1919 to 1926, as Circuit Clerk of Buchanan County, and two terms, 1931 to 1938, as State Senator from the Second District. He was elected to the circuit bench without opposition in the election November 8, 1938, for a term expiring December 31, 1944. FERD J. FRANKENHOFF (Democrat), Sixth Circuit, Division No. 3, Buchanan County. Was born at Atchison, Kan., September 25, 1895; educated in St. Louis College, St. Benedict's College at Atchison, and the St. Joseph Law School, St. Joseph, Mo. On May 4, 1918, at Camp Funston, he married Miss DOROTHY A. REIBER, and they have one son, EUGENE BYRON, age 15. Was admitted to the bar on November 23, 1926, and engaged in practice of the law at St. Joseph. Served as Municipal Judge at St. Joseph three terms, 1928 to 1934.
