Born April 5, 1888, in Hartford, Conn.; educated in the public schools of Hartford, and the Yale University Law School, New Haven, Conn., from which he was graduated in 1911. He was admitted to the bar in 1911. Married Miss LENA FRANK, April 2, 1929. Served as Assistant Circuit Attorney of St. Louis from 1917 to 1920; as Prosecuting Attorney of St. Louis, 1921-1923; State Athletic Commissioner of Missouri, 1935-1937; appointed to the circuit bench in January, 1937, by Governor Guy B. Park, and elected in November, 1938, for a term expiring December 31, 1942. He has been a lecturer of law at the City College of Law and Finance, St. Louis, since 1921. Is a member of the St. Louis and Missouri Bar Associations and the Lawyers' Association of St. Louis. He is admitted to practice in all courts of Missouri and Connecticut and the Supreme Court of the United States. ROBERT J. KIRKWOOD (Democrat), Eighth Circuit, Division No. 4, St. Louis. Was born in St. Louis, Mo., February 3, 1888; educated in the public schools of St. Louis and at Benton College of Law. He was admitted to the bar, May 23, 1909; is single, and resides at 4438 Chouteau Avenue, St. Louis. Was elected to the circuit bench November 8, 1932, to fill the unexpired term of Judge V. H. Falkenhainer, who died in May, 1931, and to which office Governor Caulfield had appointed Judge Albert D. Nortoni. Was re-elected November 6, 1934, for a term expiring December 31, 1940. WILLIAM K. KOERNER (Democrat), Eighth Circuit, Division No. 5, St. Louis. Born August 21, 1880, in Belleville, Ill., and educated in the Belleville public and high schools, Rugby Academy, St. Louis, and Columbia University School of Law, New York. He was admitted to the bar in Missouri in June, 1903. He served from april 26, 1898 to May 2, 1899, as a private in the 4th Illinois Volunteer Infantry. He was appointed August 2, 1939, to succeed the late Judge O'Neill Ryan, who died January 7, 1939. Is single and resides at 4905 Argyle Avenue, St. Louis. FRANK C. O'MALLEY (Democrat), Eighth Circuit, Division No. 6, St. Louis. Was born in St. Louis, Mo., July 29, 1883. Educated at Christian Brothers College and Washington University, both of St. Louis. Admitted to the bar in 1905, and was engaged in general civil practice twenty-seven years. Served as Government Appeals Attorney of the Sixteenth District, St. Louis, during the World War. He married Miss MARIE C. MURRAY at St. Louis, July 30, 1913, and they have six children, MARGUERITE, VIRGINIA, FRANCIS, ROBERT, MARIAN and JANE. Was nominated for Circuit Judge three times, being elected in November, 1932, for a term ending December 31, 1938. Has been a lecturer of the Law Department, Washington University, St. Louis, on "Bench and Bar and Legal Ethics" from 1935 to the present time. Resides at 6142 Kingsbury Boulevard, St. Louis. Was re-elected in 1938 for an additional six-year term. Norma
