McGUIRE (Democrat), Representative from Grundy County; born November 16, 1895, at Spickard, Mo.; educated in the public schools of Spickard. He resided at Trenton, Mo., where he publishes the Grundy County Missourian. Enlisting in the Army Air Service December 15, 1917, he served at Jefferson Barracks, Mo., and Kelly Field, Texas, until April 22, 1919. He is a member of A.F.& A.M. Lodge No. 524, Spickard; B.P.O.E., Trenton Lodge No. 801; Maj. Dale Stepp Post No. 31, American Legion, Trenton. Was a delegate from the First District of Missouri to the Democratic National Convention at Philadelphia in 1936.
