JUNGE (Republican), Representative from Benton County; born in Cole Camp, Mo., December 12, 1900; educated in the public schools of Cole Camp and the Central Missouri State Teachers College at Warrensburg. He married Miss PEARL EICKHOFF of Cole Camp, April 29, 1925. Is a lawyer and resides in Cole Camp. Appointed Circuit Clerk and Recorder of Benton County by Governor Caulfield, January 5, 1933, he served in that capacity until January 1, 1935. He is a Past Master of Cole Camp Lodge No. 595, A.F. & A.M., and also is a member of the Missouri Bar Association. Active in Republican affairs for many years, he was a delegate to the Republican State Convention in 1936, where he served as a member of the Resolutions Committee. He was elected to the House of Representatives in 1934 and re-elected in 1936 and 1938, serving as a member of the following committees in the 60th General Assembly: Judiciary; Insurance; Revision; Private Corporations; Criminal Jurisprudence; Banks and Banking. EDGAR J. KEATING (Democrat), Representative from Jackson County; born in Chicago, Ill., March 28, 1889; educated in the public schools of Chicago and the Kansas City School of Law, from which he graduated in 1917. He was married to Miss HAZEL MURRAY in Kansas City, Kan., June 10, 1918. He is an attorney and resides at 351 North Van Brunt Boulevard, Kansas City, Mo. First elected to the House of Representatives in 1930, and re-elected in 1932, 1934, 1936, and 1938, he served in the 57th General Assembly as Majority Floor Leader; in the 58th General Assembly as chairman of the Building and Loan Committee; in the 59th General Assembly as chairman of the Penitentiary Committee, and in the 60th General Assembly as chairman of the Committee on Insurance, and as a member of the following other committees: Criminal Costs; Judiciary; Probation and Parole; Revision; Transportation Other Than Railroads.
