HEALY (Democrat), Representative from St. Louis City, Third District; born May 13, 1895, in Cooper County, Mo.; educated in the public and parochial schools of Cooper County and at Christian Brothers College, St. Louis. June 27, 1930, he married Miss MARY FITZPATRICK in St. Louis, and they reside at 1008a Market Street in that city. He entered the employ of the Henry Hiemenz Realty Company, 614 Chestnut Street, St. Louis, in 1913, and now is vice-president and treasurer of that company. Served in France during the World War with Battery A, 141st Field Artillery, 39th Division. Active in Democratic affairs many years, he was elected in 1936 to the House of Representatives of the 59th General Assembly, being re-elected in 1938 and serving in the 60th General Assembly as chairman of the Committee on Military Affairs, and as a member of the following other committees: Constitutional Amendments; Insurance; Municipal Corporations; Public Health; State Library. CARL J. HENRY (Democrat), Representative from Bates County; born and reared in Butler, Mo., where he now resides and practices law. He is a graduate of Iowa State University, and the Kansas City School of Law. He served the City of Butler several terms as city attorney; was probate judge of Bates County two terms; served in the House of Representatives in the 53th and 54th General Assemblies; in the State Senate one term, 1931-1935, when he voluntarily retired to give attention to his private affairs; was elected to the House of Representatives in 1938 with the largest vote on the ticket. In the 60th General Assembly, he served on the following committees: Appropriations; Civil and Criminal Procedure; Judiciary; Roads and Highways; Taxation and Revenue; Township Organization. Norma
