GRAY (Republican), Representative from Atchison County; born in Ansonia, Ohio, October 27. 1882; educated in the grade and high schools of Allen, Kan., and Central Medical College of St. Joseph, Mo., from which he graduated in 1903' post-graduate course in Chicago, 1908, and in New York City, 1914. He married Miss HELEN ANDERSON of Americus, Kan., December 9, 1903, and they reside in Watson Mo. A physician and farm manager, he began practice of medicine in Watson in March, 1903, and has been in active practice continuously since. He is chairman of the Atchison County Red Cross Chapter. Was elected to the House of Representatives in 1934 and re-elected in 1936 and 1938. Is in the retail furniture business at 4230 North Broadway in St. Louis, and resides at 5359 North Kingshighway there. Elected to the House of Representatives in 1936, he was re-elected in 1938, serving in the 60th General Assembly as chairman of the Committee on Building and Loan; and as a member of the following other committees: Justice of the Peace and County Courts; Municipal Corporations; School of Mines; Taxation and Revenue; Transportation Other Than Railroads.
