Educated in the public schools of Columbia, Mo., and the University of Missouri Law School (LL.B). was a member of "M" of the University of Missouri and later athletic director at Westminster College, Fulton, Mo.; Texas Christian University, Fort Worth, Texas, and at East Texas Normal School, Commerce, texas. Admitted to the bar in 1911, he engaged in private practice for a number of years in Kansas City, Mo. Was a member of the Missouri State Board of Bar Examiners from 1923 to 1930. Married Miss ROSALIE BLOCH, January 19, 1916, in Excelsior Springs, Mo. They have two children, DOROTHY and WILLIAM.
