WILLIAMS (Democrat), Representative from Texas County; born at Licking, Mo., July 22, 1875; educated in the public schools of Dent and Texas Counties, Mo. February 15, 1905, he was married at Licking to Miss CARRIE KISSOCK of Maples, Mo. He was an auctioneer for thirty-five years, is in the real estate and insurance business and resides in Licking. During the Spanish-American War he served two and a half years in the army, of which twenty-two months was in the Phillipine Islands. Was cashier of the Licking State Bank from 1917 to 1922 and was a member of the Texas County Court in 1931 and 1932. First elected to the House of Representatives in the 52nd General Assembly, he was re-elected to the 53rd General Assembly and again in 1938 to the 60th General Assembly, where he served as a member of the following committees of the House of Representatives: Agriculture; Education; Roads and Highways; Flood Control and Soil Conservation; Swamp Lands, Drainage and Levees; Township Organization. GUY WINNINGHAM (Democrat), Representative from Pulaski County; born in Hancock, Mo. September 18, 1898; educated in the public schools of Hancock and Dixon, Mo., and Topeka College, Topeka, Kas. He married Miss THEKLA BEATRICE VON TOTTLEBEN in Shattuck, Okla., September 18, 1919, and resides in Dixon, where he is engaged in agriculture and live stock raising. His mother was born and reared in Alabama and his father was a native of Virginia and he has been an active Democratic party worker all his life. He was elected in 1938 to the House of Representatives, serving in the 60th General Assembly as a member of the following committees: Education; Fish and Game; Printing; Social Security and Old Age Assistance; Transportation Other Than Railroads; Workmen's Compensation.
