    1. [MNSTLOUI] Richard Oliver,b.1867,Cornwall-Eveleth 1890's?
    2. William Kemp
    3. Hello List, I've been told this week that a brother to my Great Gandmother went to Eveleth and died there.... His name was Richard Oliver and was born in 1867. I know that he was with his family in Cornwall, England in the 1881 census and he was not seen in the same town for the 1891 English census. He was a clay labourer in 1881. I was wondering what death records would of been kept as I have learned that he died there... Not sure of the circumstances surrounding his death... I was told that he hadn't married yet and was still single and that his girl friend had sent some belongings to his sister at some time. His sister came to Western Pennsylvania in 1900. A couple pictures were included and one was taken by the Turnquist Studio in Virginia and Eveleth, my guess the year is about 1891 by the way his tie is tied and the way his shirt collar is, and the other with his funeral flowers and the same picture of him in the middle of the wreath was taken by A. Jarvinen, Eveleth, Minn. Does anyone know when these photographers were in business? What newspapers were in the town in the 1890's.... Have any cemeteries in Eleveth been read and put on-line? When was death certification started in St.Louis County? Thanks for any help with all of my questions, Sincerely, William Kemp, South Florida, wok1957@worldnet.att.net
