Hi, I'm looking for information on Bert Gardner and Marie (Marina) LaComb. I guessing Bert and Marie were married in Hibbing sometime after the 1920 census and before March 1921. They had a Robert Lee Gardner on March 6, 1921, in Hibbing. They also had two other children; a baby on Jun 21, 1923 and Margaret Ann Gardner on July 12, 1924. Both were born in Hibbing. We believe there may have been more kids, but we're not sure. Marie also had a child in 1919 in Hibbing, Minnesota with a man named Charles Larson. I do know that around 1930 Robert went to live with Edward Beldo. Edward Beldo also lived in Hibbing. Any information on any of these people would be great. Kimberly Sandquist Marie Lacomb

HI, I was wondering if someone who might live in the Hibbing area could help me. I sent an e-mail back in January to the IronWorld and have not heard anything. My inquiry is this, wanting to find out about an Earnest/Ernest Christie/Christy who died in Hibbing Jan 17, 1899. I am assuming he worked in the mines. The family Bible states Hibbors mines. Does anyone have access to early death records or a newspaper that might tell what happened? I have a death certificate number as 5000. Ernest was born Nov 22, 1868 in Clark County WI. Son of Robert and Araminta Jane Baird Christie. Ernest was first buried in Hibbing, but later moved to Duluth. Any help with this would be greatly appreciated.. Many thanks.
