Their first born son was Dr. Charles A. Cooper who died on 2/20/1972. His mother Elvira lived to be 92 years old and died on 3/8/1973. Elvira was an adopted sister to my Cameron family (but I also believe she was a cousin). Elvira's mother was Lucy Perkins. I believe that she was Lucinda (Lyons) Perkins. When Lucy Perkins died in 1884 in Wadena, MN. her husband Charles was still alive. Their daughter Elvira was given to the family of John J. Cameron and Permelia (Lyons) Cameron to raise as their daughter. This has been a very interesting story and I would love to share family information with any living relatives.
