Family Discovery offers an online-based genealogical research tool. They provide a unique service that many researchers don't understand. When it comes down to it, they offer a pay for use search engine. At first, this sounds like an absurd place to spend your time. I mean, there are tons of free search engines out there. I got this email, and they do say they charge for searches, and they do explain why. What is the "got had" part of this? Are they not doing the searches? I go out of my way not to pay, so I'm not familiar with most of these types of services. I use them only when desperate, for instance, getting copies of docs from Scots Origins.
