I think that I am close to making the connection to Elvina Perkins m. Charles Cooper in Duluth 20 Aug. 1901. I have always heard of Elvie being the "Aunt" to my Grandfather. When in fact I have learned that she was an "Adopted" daughter to John and Millie. I did a search in the Wadena birth index and sure enough, there is a child "Perkins" born 20 years to the day. 20 Aug 1881. It looks as though for some reason my Cameron's took in the young Perkins girl. They left Wadena in 1888, so she would have been a small girl at the time. She did not live in the household in 1885 according to the census, so she must have become a member of the family between 1885-1888. I am hoping that someday I can learn the story as to what happend to her parents. All for now, have a great night! Dean
