Antonette Schurmann (b. 18 Apr 1835 / d. 25 Feb 1916) was married to Ferdinand Borgmann. The couple moved to the Lake George area in 1856, then to a farm just south of Sauk Centre in 1865. They had 12 children, seven of whom lived to adulthood. Ferdinand and Antonette, and several of their children, are buried at St. Paul's cemetery in Sauk Centre. Catherine Schurmann (b. 12 Nov 1837 / d. 15 Nov 1915) was married to Conrad G. Herberger. They lived in St. Cloud in the 1850s, but both are buried in St. Paul's cemetery in Sauk Centre, not far from the Borgmanns. Mary Schurmann (b. 13 Dec 1839 / d. 27 Jun 1921) was married to John Felling. They also settled near Lake George about 1856, but both died in Belgrade. Freiderich Schurmann (b. 19 Mar 1845 / d. 10 Apr 1926) never married. He is also buried at St. Paul's cemetery in Sauk Centre. All of the above are the children of Nicholas and Louise (Becker) Schurmann. The Schurmann family emigrated from Reclinhausen, Prussia, in about 1853 and settled near Guttenburg, Iowa, in Volga Twp, Clayton County, Iowa.
