Lorelee, One more resource you might want to check is the microfilm of the marriage records of Stearns Co., which are available at your local Family History Center (of the LDS Later Day Saints, or Mormons). You have to order the film first for a rental fee of $3.25. 1882-3 is kind of early but their site <familysearch.org> can tell you what years are covered by the records. Once you find out about Maria Sura, you might want to try the microfilm records of Falkowitz, Schlesien for her origins in Silesia. Many of the people from that area (Opole) in MN came from the Falkowitz church area. And I have seen the name Sura in those parish records. Nancy Pundsack
