Josephine was probably a daughter of Elisabeth (Klein) Jacquemain, and a sister of August Shockman, Nicholas Jackman, Christina Sand, Wilhelm Jacquemain, and Franz Jacquemain. All but Wilhelm lived for awhile in Stearns County. There may have been another brother named Jacques. I also have some information that does seem to match your Schackmann line - Johannes Jackman? & Mariae Schmit of Irrel, Rheinland - parents of Mathias Johannis Jackman who married Katharina Thines - parents of John Schackmann who married Anna Burgard, also of Catharina Schackmann who married Mathias Schreifels, also of Maria E Schackmann who married Phillip H Gross, also of Michael Schackmann, also of Margaretha Schackmann, also of Magdalena Schackmann who married Theodore Lardy. So far I haven't been able to connect these two lines. Although it's interesting how similar the naming patterns are between the two families.
