The books are extremely high quality reproductions (and are correspondingly very expensive) but the CD's are a real bargain in comparison. William Bell Mitchell's 2-volume (1736 pages total) "History of Stearns County, Minnesota" will set you back $189.95 for volume 1 and $239.95 for volume 2 in book form but only $59.95 for both volumes on CD in .pdf form.
