His mother's maiden name was Nelson, however, it is possible the father remarried, as Edwin was only four when she died. Just to let you know, I have looked at many death certificates at the MNHS for Edwin Johnson. There are a ton of them! I think I need to find an obituary. Any suggestions would be appreciated!
