He was born in Grothe, Hanover, Preussen on 7/25/1808. He married Catharina Marie Stromberg. Came to the U.S. in 1860. His father was Johan Gerhard Middendorf and his mother was Catharina Juettmann. Any information on this family would be greatly appreciated.
