The death of Mrs. Louise Pallansch occurred at the home of her son, Charles, here Friday afternoon at 4:30 o'clock at a result of a heart stroke. She had been in her usual health before that. The funeral was held at the St. Boniface church Monday morning at 9 o'clock. Rev. Father Haupt officiating. Mrs. Barney Lembeck was cross bearer and the active and honorary pall bearers were: John Kuefler, Mrs. H.W. Lembeck, Peter Koll, Mrs. John Primus, Mr. and Mrs. John Thelen, Mr. and Mrs. John Fath, Mr. and Mrs. Jake Moser and Mr. and Mrs. Ben Renneker. Mrs. Pallansch's maiden name was Louise Schneider and she was born in Lafayette, Ind., August 25, 1855, being 81 years and 10 months old at her death. Her parents located at Pearl Lake, Stearns County, when she was a child. She married Jacob Pallansch there on May 17, 1880, and about 10 years later they came to Melrose. Mr. Pallansch died on Feb. 14, 1905. Four children survive: Mrs. B.R. Mohler of Minneapolis, Henry Pallansch of St. Cloud, Mrs. Gregor Schwinghammer of Albany, and Charles Pallansch of Melrose. There are 28 grand children and one great grand child. Brothers and sisters surviving are Chas. Schneider and Mrs. P.P.Molitor of St. Cloud, Herman Schneider of Pearl Lake and Mrs. Margaret Strauss of Eden Valley.
