This project has brought me into contact with several Luxembourg researchers. On May 28th - St. Cloud, Luxemburg (MN) and St. Nicholas will be visited by Mr. Rene Daubenfeld and 12 fellow Luxembourgers who will be touring the upper Midwest to see the various settlements by Luxembourgers. We are honored that they have selected Sterans County for a stop! Mr. Daubenfeld has a particular interest in the following Luxembourg families who came to Stearns County: Burggraff, Gross, Lutgen, Grandgenet, Frank, Huberty (the Albany family), Beisch, Rome, Majerus from Brachtenbach. His specific interet is in people from Canton Wiltz! There may be a few more that I have missed. However, the group is interested in all Luxembourg descendants who live in this area. The group would like to meet with fellow Luxembourgers while in St. Cloud on Saturday, May 28th.
