He was born in Belgium and came to Melrose about 35 years ago. His sons are Peter Pallansch if Sioux Falls, S.D., Bartal Pallansch of Albany and John Pallansch residing in Wisconsin. ***note: Jacob didn't have sons by these names. I believe the obit should've said "his brothers are". ---------- Der Nordstern St. Cloud, Stearns, Minnesota February 16, 1905, page 5 Tuesday, the 59-year-old Jacob Pallansch, born in Belgium, suddenly died. He had suffered for years from asthma, and passed away before a priest could be summoned. Services will be held on Friday. May he find eternity in the presence of the Great Judge, full of grace. ---------- The Melrose Beacon Melrose, Stearns, Minnesota Friday, March 10, 1905 Order to Appoint Administrator State of Minnesota County of Stearns ss. In Probate Court General Term. Mar. 6, 1905. In the matter of the estate of Jacob Pallansch deceased: On receiving and filling the petition of Louise M. Pallansch of the City of Melrose of the County of Stearnsrepresenting among other things that Jacob Pallansch late of the County of Stearns in the state of Minnesota, on the 14th day of February 1905, at the County of Stearns died intestate and being an inhabitant of this County at the time of his death leaving goods chattels and estate within this County and that the said petitioner is the widow of said deceased and praying that administration of said estate be to Henry Pallansch granted: It is ordered that said petition before said Court on Monday the 3rd day of April 1905 at the Probate office in the Court House in the City of St. Cloud in said County. Ordered further that notice is thereof be given to the heirs of said deceased and to all persons interested by publishing this order once in each week for three successive weeks prior to said day of hearing in The Melrose Beacon a weekly newspaper printed and published at Melrose in said County.
