I would like to have more information on Peter Karls and his wife, Maria/Mary Bildinger, who moved to Minnesota in about 1867. This couple brought two children to America with them from Luxembourg. The youngest, Nicholas Karls, was born in about 1866 in Luxembourg. This couple had six more children born in Minnesota, One son, Peter Karls, was baptised at St. Nicholas Parish in St. Nicholas, MN on 9 Jan. 1876. So, what happened to this family? Did they move away, or did some of them grow to maturity here, marry and raise families in the area? The names of the children were: Anna, Nicholas (both born in Luxembourg), Mary, Nicholas, Anna, Joseph, Peter, and Mary Catherine. Any help is appreciated.
