Father to Marcus and 9 sisters was Joseph Schafer born May 17, 1870 died Nov 13, 1959, a farmer in Rockville married Sep 19, 1893 at Holy Cross Catholiic Church, Pearl Lake Anna Eichers born May 20 ,1870 died 1943 of stroke in Pearl Lake.
