I believe Johann was a brother of my gg-grandfather, Michael Horsch. From what I can piece together, Johann was born in Wiesbaum, Germany in 1821. He immigrated to America in the 1840s, and settled in Wisconsin. He file for naturalization in Racine County, Wisconsin. He married Elizabeth Zirbes in Wisconsin around 1849. Michael and Elizabeth had two children in Wisconsin -- Joanem and Elizabeth. Their child Elizabeth was baptized at St. Mary's Catholic Church in Marytown, Fond du Lac County. Michael and Elizabeth moved to Stearns County, Minnesota between 1854 and 1858. According to the 1880 census, they had four more children in Minnesota -- Mathaias, John Adam, Agnes and Marie Eva. I would appreciate any information on Michael Horsch, Elizabeth Zirbes, or their descendants.
