I have been researching my family tree, And my Great grandmother on my dads side was Katherine Verkennis. She married Leonard Rosen back in 1869 down in Victoria, Minnesota. I went down to Carver County toget info from the historical society, And the person there hooked me up with a lady from the Netherlands. This woman was very helpful, She sent me alot of info & I think you are talking about the same family!!!
