Can anyone tell me where Arban, MN is (or was) or the Sacred Heart Cemetery? My GG-Grandparents are buried there, but I can't seem to find Arban on a map. I live in the Minneapolis area. Erica -- Arban is a defunct post office (1895 - 1905) that was located in section 27 of Holding Township, about a dozen miles northwest of St. Cloud. It was also known as Young's Settlement. Scared Heart cemetery is located in section 28 of Holding Township and was associated with the Sacred Heart church (1875 - 1906). Early death records are now in St. Mary's rectory in Holdingford. Post 1906 records are in St Anna Catholic church in St Anna in Avon Township. Erica -- A follow-up -- it appears that Harlanders were buried in St. Mary's cemetery (#73.2) in Holdingford... none appear at Sacred Heart cemetery.
