Surnames: KUVELER, KUEFLER, GILGENBACH Classification: Query Message Board URL: http://boards.ancestry.com/mbexec/msg/an/TJB.2ACI/1611.1 Message Board Post: Mathias Kuveler & Maria Weber had these children (all born in Germany): 1) Johann Peter, b. 9 May 1797 - twice married (1) to Maria Schneider; (2) to Maria Catharina Gilgenbach, m. 2 March 1829. 2) Servetius, b. 9 Dec 1798. 3) Anna Maria, b. 17 Dec 1800 4) Peter, b. 26 Feb 1802; d. 7 June 1841 in Germany who may have (probably) married an Anna Maria Gilgenbach. 5) Johann - b. 1 July 1804, married Maria Catherina Schmitz. 6) Joann Josef, b. 19 Sept 1806; married Anna Pung. 7) Unnamed who died on day of birth. 8) Maria Gertrude, b. 15 July 1812; married Mathias Thelen on 7 Aug 1832. --------------------------------------------------------------------------- Peter Kuveler (child #4 above) was married to Anna Maria Gilgenbach, they had three daughters (no record of these daughter's marriages, if any.) --------------------------------------------------------------------------- The grandchild of Mathias Kuveler, Anton Kuefler, married Maria Gilgenbach at Lake George, Minnesota, USA in 1887. They had 14 children. --------------------------------------------------------------------------- Michael Gilgenbach, b. 26 Dec 1834 in Germany; d. 28 Dec 1813 at Hoven, South Dakota, USA, married Barbara Schmitz.
