I am an active part of the Kimball Area Historical Society, and unfortunately no one is aware of any photos that exist. Likewise, the Stearns County History Center has not identified any Maine Prairie photos either. I keep hoping one of these days there will be a breakthrough. On the store, I believe that your Louden purchased the store from my g-grandfather Roger W. Stanley about at the turn of the century. He had a store on one corner and his brother David B. Stanley had a store on the opposite corner. DB's store included pharmacy, the Post Office, livery for the stage, etc. Roger's store was more general merchandise. A third store was run later by Delbert Guptill. There is a short segment on the hamlet (written by RW Stanley) in Mitchell's history. Stearns County also has an oral history by Ida (Louden) Phillips when she was 89 in which she describes some memories from when her family had the store. I have transcribed the segment where she talks about the store. But again no photos. There is a diagram of the location of the Corners' buildings in the 1894 Atlas, showing the three stores and other structures.
