The Lindt family lived in St. Cloud. The three daughters married local men and continued to live most of their adult lives in the St. Cloud area. Anna was my dad's aunt, so the three women were his cousins. Since there was little contact between the families, I would appreciate any information you can provide. Thanks for taking the time to read this query. Gerald R.

Hello Borgmann researchers, Spent some time at the Duluth Public Library this week going over the 1865 Minnesota Census page by page. It is not indexed other than being alphabetized by County and by Township. It took awhile to find the Ferdinand Borgmann family, though I was rather sure they would have been in Sauk Centre Township by 1865. Finally figured out that they are listed as "Bordman" and with only initials, not first names. They are listed as family #74, with little other information. The census has only eight columns besides name: male, female, colored, deaf, dumb, blind, insane, and Soldiers. The Borgmanns are listed as follows: F. Bordman M A. " F A. " F F. " F H. " M A. " F They would be Ferdinand, Antonette (wife), Antonette (dau), Frances, Henry, and Amelia. Children Louise (b. Dec 1859) and George (b. abt 1861), both died of diphtheria in April 1865. The census was taken on 1 June 1865. I can provide an electronic copy of the copy I made if you wish. Thank you for doing this! I'm interested in tracking down the grave of Frank Schibilla b Aug 1833 and died after the 1900 census. I want to find out if he's the brother of Johan Przybilla of Pierz. His wife Mary (Wainast??) was also on the 1900 cenus, but neither of them were on the 1910. I think all the Schibillas in Holding were descended from their son Frank. This Frank and his wife Johanna/Anna had kids John, Frank, Elizabeth, Johanna, Mary, Agnes, Frances and Martin. Thanks in advance for any help!

This is not a direct line for me so my information is old, secondhand and, evidently, suspect. It appears Peter Ethen married Magdalena Schafer, Anna Loesch, and Elizabeth Steidl, in that order. (I now don't know who Anna Margaretha Schaefer married.) I had Magdalena listed as marrying Henry Ethen (brother to Peter) but, based on two other messages I received, Henry either never existed or never married! Your post refers to a Henry one generation later (son of Peter) and there appears to be agreement about who your Henry married. My interest is the Schafer family; perhaps you have information on it?
