    2. Gustav Utsch & Ottilia Rausch are mentioned in the family tree book "In the steps of Peter Rausch" by Virg Egerman. A copy of this book can be located in the Stearns History Research Center in St. Cloud. I am a descendant of Peter Rausch who was Ottilia's uncle. I hope this helps you, if you still need it.

It is across the Clearwater River from Clearwater Village and Township, which is in Wright County. If you have family in this area you may also want to consider looking in Clear Lake Village and Township in Sherburne County, across the Mississippi River. The rivers did not seem to be an impediment to travel between the three areas with the exception of Spring high waters. Phil Holm
