I posted this same message on the Kandiyohi Board, as I am not sure where this falls -- I know that the Mork family started out in Burbank Township, Kandiyohi, but that is only a mile or two south of Georgeville, Stearns County. They said they lived in Georgeville, but obviously didn't. They certainly were very active in Crow River Luth. Church. Seeking information about Greatgrandfather, Karsten Mork (aka Karsten Danielson) family. He arrived Section 12, Burbank Township, Kandiyohi County, 1869 from Naesna, Nordland, Norway with wife Emelie and brother-in-law and sister, Maren Danielsdotter and Peter O. Iverson. Later moved to Section 36, assume also in Burbank Township. We have gathered much, but am particularly interested in marriage of a Peter Miller to Karsten's daughter, Augusta Annie Mork, in Crow River Luth. Church in 1897. Have little information about Peter Miller, where he came from (other than that he came from Denmark in 1880's), importantly, HOW he came to settle in Burbank Township. Believe that he may have had a creamery in Georgeville. Thanks for any help, it would be greatly appreciated. Wayne Johnson
