I tried to access this "great Stearns County site". After signing up I got stuck for 15 minutes. I had to shut my computer down to get out of it. Has anyone been successful in accessing it? When was Gertrude Terhaar born? I have a Gertrude born March 8, 1892, died March 27, 1983 and married to Ben Niehoff. If this is the same Gertrude, perhaps Mertes was another husband?

Classification: Query Message Board URL: http://boards.ancestry.com/mbexec/msg/rw/TJB.2ACI/1239.1.1 Message Board Post: Sure...here's what I know from looking at the 1880 census. At that time there were three Danzl families in the St. Joseph area..and one in Wendel Township (this would be John and Catherine) ...I'm not sure how they are related..but it's a good bet that they are somehow (cousins maybe)...so I have the ages listed that they were in June of 1880 John Danzl - 50 Catherine - 44 Elizabeth - 16 Christina - 14 Theresa - 12 Ferdinand - 10 Joseph - 8 Georg - 4 Mary 2 Then there was my great-grandfather, Ferdinand - 46 Katharina (sp?) - 36 Kaspar - 11 John - 9 Josepha - 7 Gertrude - 3 Michael - 1 Maggie (born aft. 1880) Frank (born aft. 1880) Thomas Danzl -53 Francesca - 43 Peter - 18 Margareth - 16 George - 13 MIchael - 10 Anna 6 I hope that you find this helpful..this is as far back as I 've been able to go on the Danzl side.
