Classification: Query Message Board URL: http://boards.ancestry.com/mbexec/msg/rw/TJB.2ACI/50.203.208.254.1 Message Board Post: Thanks for the reply. 31 months later - isn't the internet wonderful? John E. Hennemann, born 24 June 1856 in Buffalo Grove, Illinois. He was one of 9 known children of Andreas Hennemann and Katharina Schoeneberger. Seven of the children lived to adulthood. One apparently died in Illinois, and another was born & died in St.Cloud. Of the seven surviving children, John was the fifth born. He married Anna Maria Kraemer. I know very little about their children, and would like to know more! I have researched the Hennemann and Schoeneberger families in Germany and have traced them back to the 1600's. The Schoeneberger family is more thoroughly researched as the records are on microfilm at the Family Research Center in Salt Lake City. The Schoeneberger family came from Mainzweiler, Saarland, Germany. I'd like to hear from you again. E-mail me at gleisen @cloudnet.com

Following is a partial list of descent Hubert Zirbes & Maria Elisabetha Neis--who was a sister to my great-grandmother Margaretha Neis Bold. I seek any possible descnet/connection to this Lemken family. Curiosity: Elizabeth Zirbes Lemken was born in "Michigan" (lake or state?) aboard ship when family was moving to Minnesota (1867) Henry LEMKEN resident of Kansas City, married Elizabeth Zirbes, born 3 March 1867. daughter of Hubert Zirbes and Maria Elisabetha Neis. The Neis and Zirbes families lived in Spring Hill, Stearns Co. at least until c. 1890. I seek all descendants of this line since Maria Elisabetha is a sister to my great-grandmother, Anna Margaretha Neis Bold of Cold Spring. Henry and Elizabeth Lemken had the following known children: Edward, William, Helen, Anna, Clara and Francis. I have Neis, Bold and Zirbes information to dechange with Lemken descendants. I am told, Eurilla had siblings, Hattie, Murlin, and Edger. Also mentioned a Benjamin H(Hiram?) Shaffer m a Sherman. One of the Sherman sister's supposedly married a Daniel Franis Shaffer too same generation. I have found a Benjamin Shaffer of a Charles Shaffer/etc. Parents of Sherman/etc AKA's were to have been Elijah Sherman b 1819-1881 m (2) Sarah Foster b c 1835. Elijah's first wife was said to be an Emma Garver. Other surnames in this family were said to be: Miller, Wright, Sullivan, Robinson, Smalley, Byrne, Wagoner/Wagner, Staley, Kelly, etc. Do you know any of these?
