I've "rescued" an old photograph of Ernest & Nora SANDER which was taken at the Hoerger Studio in Faribault, Minnesota. The photograph is the couple's wedding photograph, likely taken in the early 1900's when they were in their 20's. Based on limited research I was able to gather the following information regarding this couple: Ernest William SANDER was b. 17 Aug 1878 in Minnesota to parents William or Wilhelm Frederick SANDER (b. 25 Jul 1845 in Filehne, Prussia - d. 27 Apr 1908 in Rosalia, WA) and Anna Boebara or Barbara MEISNER (b. 22 Apr 1849 in New York, NY). Ernest was one of 9 children born to this couple including, Charles; Angelina; Augusta Anna; Lydia Ida "Lizzie" Zander; Alexander F.; Franklin Alexander Allen; Ernest William; Emma Bertha; and Clara Louise SANDER, all born between 1871 and 1887. Ernest married Nora Ester MICHAELIS (b. Feb 1884 in MN, the daughter of Frederick MICHAELIS and Elizabeth OSTERMANN) on the 14th of May 1902. Nora was one of 5 children born to her parents including, Nora E.; Lillie; Frederick William; Mabel Laura; and Eveline MICHAELIS, all born in MN between 1884 and 1898. Ernest and Nora had 9 children including, Carroll Rollins or Rollin; Syvilla Louise or Lucille; Mildred May; Leonard Warren; Lester Oran or Orin; Ernest William "Buddy" Jr.; Gwendelyn; June; and Nadine E. SANDER, all born between 1903 and 1922 in MN, SD, and ND. Ernest died in Morton Co., ND on 30 Oct 1952 and Nora died in 1968.
