Clearly whoever staffs the help desk doesn't have a clue what to look for....but then am I crazy? I could not find Census information there for Sibley in 1870....they may have copied the microfilm exactly as they received it from NARA, but was the microfilm correct.? Bad enough that 1890 doesn't exist, but not to have 1870 also....that becomes a major loss. Description: My primary research area is Sibley County Minnesota When I went to the 1870 Census, Sibley County, Minnesota what I found was death and agricultural information NOT the usual Census data....which is what I need! The whole County is missing for that Census Can this information please, please be posted .............................................................................. THEIR Reply: Thank you for your email. We have looked at the images you indicated and it appears that we have copied the information exactly as it was found in the microfilm that was sent from the NARA. If you look at image #3 you will notice that there are two pages displayed from the same book, the page on the left indicates that it is a Census Report form and the page on the right indicates that it is an agriculture form. If you have information that indicates there are missing pages, please send us that information and we will look into the issue further. If there is anything else we can assist you with, please let us know.
