My major Geib connection is a John Geib who married Augestine Sander in abt 1857 - she was born in 1841 in Prussia and died in 1990. They had 8 children: John O Geib Margaret Geib William Geib Robert P Geib (married a Wegge) Lydia Geib Ernest geib Laura Geib Ella C Geib (married Rudolph Furch) For me this is something of a dead end....any information you can share would be appreciated.
