It was my first effort and I have learned a lot for next time. I finally had the time to put them on my web site in case the information would be helpful for others. The photos are alphabetical by last name. When I knew the maiden name of a wife, I included that information. You can scroll down the frame on the left, click on a name, and the photo will be displayed on the right. There are a couple blurry ones I will fix next week. Ole Overson arrived about 1844 He was married to Joran (Julia) and had a son Lidvar (Louis) Overson, married to Lena Jacobson. Ole is listed in 1858 as a charter member of the Lake Prairie township Nicollet Norwegian Lutheran church. In 1882 Ole Overson donated the land to build the Norwegian Grove Lutheran Church in Sibley county. Sever Jacobson and his wife Inger Rasmussen Jacobson arrived about 1876 and had at least 2 children, one son and a daughter named Lena. All are buried in the Norwegian Grove Cemetery in Sibley County I would appreciate any information about these families. Thanks!
