(LuVerne ) Siebenahler L.J. (LuVerne ) Siebenahler, 68, Hardwick, died Friday, Oct. 1, 1993, in Luverne Community Hospital. Services were Monday, Oct. 4, in St. Catherine's Church, Luverne. The Rev. Eugene Egan officiated. Burial was in the St. Catherine's Cemetery, Luverne. Honorary pallbearers were Russell Wenzel, Ray Kramer, Johnny DeCombaz, Howard Buss, Del Slagel, Myron Halverson, Melvin Bendt, Al Stoltenberg and Vernon Stroh. Pallbearers were Chris Bryan, Craig Bryan, Mike Siebenahler, Michele Rideout, Jennifer DeBates, Karla Gors and Dawn Hansen. L . J . Siebenahler was born to John and Laurine Frisch Siebenahler on Nov. 3, 1924, in Ash Creek. He Married Helen Ralfs in St. Catherine's Church, Luverne, on Nov. 29, 1945. He owned and operated Siebenahler Trucking from 1946 until his retirement in 1979. He was a member of St. Catherine's Church and a past member of the Hardwick fire Department . Survivors include his wife, Helen, Hardwick ; one son and daughter-in-law, Judy Siebenahler, Sioux Falls S. D.; four daughters, Loretta Cook, Texas City, TX, Linda Yess, Waseca, Laura DeBates and her husband, Rick, Warland, WY, and Lorna Bryan, and her husband, Don, Hardwock; Three grandsons, Chris Bryan, Craig Bryan, and Mike Siebenahler; four granddaughters, Michele Rideout, Jennifer DeBates, Karla Gors, and Dawn Hansen ; one great-grandchild, Derek Gors; four brothers, Lloyd Siebenahler and his wife, Gladys, Luverne, Robert Siebenahler and his wife, Gerda, Jasper, Leon Siebenahler and his wife, Phyllis, Luverne, and Arnold (Shorty ) Siebenahler, Luverne; one sister and brother -in-law, Theresa and Harold Winger, Killen, TX . Mr. Siebenahler was preceded in death by his parents and a son-in-law, Wayne Cook. Engebretson Funeral Home, Luverne, was in charge of arrangements.
