"BABE" BOTKIN December 08, 1920 in Luverne, Minnesota, daughter of ROBERT JACKSON BOTKIN and JANET "NETTIE" PEARSON. Hortense was born June 20, 1902 in Iowa (probably Lyon County), and died October 1989 in (probably) Otter Tail, Minnesota. Children of WILLIAM KLEEMEIER & HORTENSE BOTKIN: i. WILLIAM KLEEMEIER, b. February 15, 1923 in MN. ii. ROBERT KLEEMEIER, b. Aug 20, 1924 in MN; d. Jan 02, 1952. iii. PHYLLIS KLEEMEIER, b. October 1926 in MN. iv. JOYCE KLEEMEIER, b. January 1928 in MN. KLEEMEIER sometimes spelled KLEEMIER. BOTKIN sometimes spelled BODKIN. In the 1930 census, Williams parents are listed as both born in Germany (but his younger sister Emma MORGANTHALICS, b abouth 1902, who is living with him in 1930 census, says she born South Dakota, father b Switzerland and mother b Germany).
