September 14, 1917 ROCK COUNTY HERALD Magnolia News "Word was received here that WM. MCGEE, SR., had passed away at the home of his son, CHARLES MCGEE, at Sisseton, S. D.. He was united in marriage to Miss KATHERINE SMITH fifty-four years ago. To this union were born eight children, DOT PRICE, Claire City, S. D., MAGGIE ADAMS, of Cheyenne, WYO., JOHN, of Beaver Creek, Mrs. M. ELLSWORTH of Adrian, FRANK, of Granite Falls, TOM, WILL, JAMES, AND CHARLES of Sisseton, who with his aged wife, mourn his loos. The deceased made his home in Magnolia for fifty-three years, living here until last spring, when Mr. and Mrs. McGee moved to Sisseton, to make their home with their son. The funeral was held at that place Tuesday. The sympathy of the entire community goes out to the bereaved ones."
