Moreaux, editor and publisher of the Rock County Herald, b. 1874. His sister was Emaleon (Mrs. M. H. Voelz), brothers Augustus and Charles. He apparently had 3 siblings that died in infancy. It's a long bio, but I could transcribe it and email it if you like. There's also a bio I have of Mrs. Ole Tweton (one "E"). Her husband, Ole, died on Sept. 27, 1907 and they farmed in Rose Dell Township. Let me know if you want one or both of these bios.

Otto Gothard Hvam (a/k/a Gustav Hvam) was my grandfather. Do you happen to know anything about one of Gustav's children (Sammy) who died at birth? Sammy was born to Gustav and Laura Dahl in approximately 1910 as my mother was 2 when her mother died at childbirth which would have made it 1910 when Sammy was born. I don't know where Sammy was born. We thought perhaps South Dakota since most of our other relatives were born there. Thanks for your help.

Ludvig and family established their family at the Rock County Farm, west of Luverne for 16 years -- this was commonly referred to as the "poor farm" where the Lee's were responsible for caring for the homeless or helpless indigent people of the community.
