Perhaps there is another researcher interested in him! I checked for both Dr. Fisher and his wife in that source and neither was listed under Fisher or Fischer. However, that does not mean that there is not a death record for him. At that point in time, St. Paul had a health department, as did Ramsey County. The records have been microfilmed, and are available at the Family History Libraries operated by the Mormon Church. As a doctor, it's likely that his death would have been recorded. You were not specific as to whether he died before or after 1895 MN State Census (now available through Ancestry.com). I assumed from how you worded your query that he was not on the 1900 Federal Census. It's always helpful to gather ALL census records to help narrow a time span for searching. Another clue that might provide the answer lies in what kind of "Dr." he was. The Library at the Minnesota History Center has a card file of newspaper clippings (it's not on-line, and isn't currently in their plans to put it on line). Librarians and volunteers in the past have added cards from proceedings of various professional and religious groups, such as the Minnesota Medical Association, etc. Not every death is listed in that either, but you never know! Good luck in your search! Mary Listmom > Hi, > > First of all, thank you very much for your time and efforts and > contributions to genealogists.
