He married a Melina Unknown (1861-1927), born in Quebec, Canada and died in Ramsey County. Alphonse is listed in the 1885 census as married, living with his wife and 4 children in St. Paul. His occupation was a shoemaker. I am intially looking for the last name of his wife, and his marriage, which I believe was about 1878. His first child, Alphonse, was born about 1879 in Minnesota.
