I've "rescued" an old photograph identified as Will VANDERPOOL which was taken at the Hooker Studio in St. Paul, Minnesota. The photograph appears to have been taken in the 1880's with Will likely in his 30's at the time the photograph was taken. Based on limited research I was able to gather the following information regarding Will and his family: William H. VANDERPOOL b. 12 Mar 1850 in WI to parents William VANDERPOOL (b. 29 Dec 1795 in Guilderland, NY) and Wyntje "Jemima" VAN BENSCHOTEN (b. 15 Feb 1810 in Knox, NY). Will married Emma A. BROWN (b. 16 Sept 1855 in Caldwell, WI) at St. Paul, MN and they had a child Ivah B. VANDERPOOL b. 9 Mar 1877 in WI. Census records provide the following information: 1860 census of Vernon, WI: William VANDERPOOL, age 64, a Farmer, born NY Jemima VANDERPOOL, age 51, born NY William VANDERPOOL, age 9, born WI 1880 census of Eagle, WI: W. If you are a member of this family, or you know someone who might be, please contact me. Thanks, Shelley
