Hi list, I am looking for films of church books for any Swedish Methodist churches that may have been in operation in East Side St Paul in the 1880s and 1890s. I checked the LDS site and found that only five churches are listed under their Church Records headings. That seems a very low number to me, but I think I did my checking correctly. Specifically, I am looking for Swedish Methodist churches that my ancestors may have attended who lived in the 500 and 600 blocks of E. Maryland St (just west of Payne) during the 1880s & 1890s. They were from Norway, & presumably of Lutheran background, but were married in Red Wing in 1882 by a minister of the above church denomination, C.F. Lindquist. Does anyone know of a source for these church records? Thanks, Bart
