This gentleman and I are related. He lists Joseph Dupre having a son named Dolar?(spelling) who married Tilde Vadnais and spent his life in White Bear Lake. The correct name is Dolor (french for sorrow) Dupre and he married Matilda Vadnais (Tilde for short). They had a daughter Eva Dupre who was my grandmother. She married Stephen Stanciu, a Romanian immigrant when she was 33 and he was 8 years her junior. She was a high school teacher and was quite an independent lady for her time. Her children are Josette (80), my father, Celes Dolor (deceased as of 97) and Aurel who died at 5 years of age. My Dad grew up in White Bear Lake on a dairy farm that I believe was owned by my grandmothers family.
